① Cause: The newly replaced Used Car brake pads are thicker, or the wrong Used Car brake pad model is installed.
Solution: Install the correct model of Used Car brake pads. And after replacing the Used Car brake pads, turn the brake disc by hand to check whether there is any sticking phenomenon before testing the car.
② Cause: The high temperature resistance of Used Car brake pads is unqualified. According to national standards, the suitable working temperature of Used Car brake pads is 100-350℃. However, there are still inferior Used Fuel Car brake pads on the market that carbonize at 250℃, and the friction coefficient drops rapidly.
Solution: Install regular Used Car brake pad products.
③ Cause: The Used Car brake pad sub-cylinder returns abnormally, the Used Fuel Car brake pad is stuck in the caliper groove or the caliper guide pin is stuck, causing drag brakes.
Solution: Check the brake system and use the brake system maintenance kit to clean and maintain the relevant accessories.
④Cause: Continuous downhill driving and long braking
Solution: When driving downhill continuously, you should lower the gear, turn on the auxiliary brake to control the speed, and do not brake continuously. If you need to brake, it should be effective immediately; the main reason for brake failure is that the brakes are used too frequently, and the brake pads of Used Fuel Car are too hot, causing the brakes to fail. Therefore, when driving downhill in mountainous areas, avoid continuous braking, and try to use point braking to prevent the brakes from overheating and causing brake failure.
⑤Cause: Forget to release the handbrake
Solution: Check the vehicle prompts carefully before driving and release the handbrake. Many cars now have automatic parking functions to avoid such problems.
