Used
Used Car are generally equipped with flooded lead-acid batteries. Compared with maintenance-free batteries, these batteries need to be replenished with water from time to time for maintenance. For refilling the battery with water, users should pay attention to the methods and some details:
(1) Water in flooded batteries will naturally be lost during use, causing the liquid level to drop. It is necessary to regularly unscrew the liquid hole cover and check the liquid level in each cell of the battery. Note: In any case, make sure that the plates inside the battery are completely covered by the liquid level. Use without water will greatly shorten the battery life.
(2) Under normal circumstances, the higher the ambient temperature, the more frequently the battery is used, and the longer the use time, the faster the water loss. Normal fluid level inspection cycle: It is recommended to check once every half a month in summer and once a month in winter. For batteries that have been used for more than one year, the inspection cycle should be shortened as appropriate.
(3) When adding water to the Used Car battery, be sure to use distilled water or deionized water specifically for the battery. It is prohibited to use ordinary tap water, well water or river water, or to add acid directly to the battery. Note: General water has high impurity ion content, which will damage the battery.
(4) Please refill the battery after it is fully charged. If the board is exposed to the liquid level before charging, first add an appropriate amount of pure water to cover the board. After charging is completed, add the liquid level to the specified height.
(5) Determine the height of the water level: Please add water to a height of about 3-4mm below the bottom of the liquid level indicator (a circle of plastic part deep inside the battery in the filling hole).
