Electric Car battery, which has good reliability, easy-to-obtain raw materials, and low price; the specific power can basically meet the power requirements of Used Electric Car. But it has two major disadvantages; one is that the specific energy is low, and the mass and volume occupied are too large, so the mileage of a single charge is short; the other is that the service life is short and the cost of use is too high.
Ni-MH batteries: Ni-MH batteries are alkaline batteries. Ni-MH batteries have a long cycle life and high energy density, but they are expensive and have memory effects. The foreign company that produces Used Electric Car Ni-MH batteries is mainly a joint venture between Ovonie, Toyota and Panasonic. Ovonie currently has two unit batteries of 80A·h and 130A·h, with a specific energy of 75-80W·h/kg and a cycle life of more than 600 times. This kind of battery is used in several Used Electric Car vehicles, one of which can travel 345 kilometers on a single charge, and one vehicle travels more than 80,000 kilometers in a year.
Battery price trend: In terms of price trends, the price of Used Electric Car`s fast-charging lithium-ion power battery is around $1600/kwh, and the price of ordinary lithium-ion power batteries is around $500/kwh. In the service cycle, the use cost of Used Car with fast charging lithium-ion power batteries with 100km endurance is 25% higher than that of gasoline internal combustion engine vehicles with proper performance. Once the price of Used Electric Car power battery drops to $200-300/kwh, the operating cost of Used Car will be equivalent to that of traditional cars.
